2003 M45 Hid fog housing mods

Attempted to mount hid fogs but the bulbs are too long. Before I start hacking up my housing assy's does anybody have a solution for this problem. I was thinking take apart the housing and removing the shield, or maybe drill a hole thru the shield, or something...open to all suggestions. Thanks guys! :biggrin:

should have no issue with HIDs lol did you purchase the right size?

Yes they are h3. I got them in already, all I did was push the innershield out with a screwdriver.
