2003 M45 Audio replacement

Here is what I would like to do. I have read a bunch from searching but I just need it clarified.

1. Replace all speakers with better quality same size speakers in the factory locations.

2. Add subwoofers. Either a 10 in the factory location or 2 10's in the trunk.

3. Add 2 amps to power all the above equipment.

Can I just run Line Ouput converters from the signal before it reaches the amp and then tap the wires after the amps to go to the factory speakers?

Or do I need to attach the Cleansweep? I did notice that the cleansweep has no sub out so I would have to either split the rear rca's and use that or tap the sub wires before they go into the bose amp.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can do this but just remember that Line Output converters are low voltage. I have the wiring diagram for the bose amp in the trunk if you need it to do this. If you give me a little bit I am going to try to stick a double din nav unit where the tape player is and run RCA's from that. I am going to run rca's to the back and integrate into the factory bose system for the door speakers, then run an amp for the subs. I will eventually pull the factory speakers and put something else in. I just don't have the time/money to do that all at once. When I do the head unit install I will post pictures and do a write up. If things are as easy as I hope then I would recommend doing this to get the better signal. I'll keep ya posted.

Do you have a list of what size the OEM speakers are?

From what I have found out there are 6.5's in each door (4) and a set of tweets (I don't know the size) in the dash. There is a 10 inch sub in the rear deck.
