I had my car checked at the dealer and they told me that I may have an open wire. There is an intermittent open in the circuit, whether it is in the wiring or in the component. They reset the code and couldn't duplicate it. They tried to troubleshoot it, but no results. Has anyone else had this similar problem.

There is a TSB on that. But if you don't have anymore codes then they can't fix it. I had that problem before and they did under warranty.

Well I thought I looked incorrectly and you don't have a recall on your airbag light. Nut you mght need to bring it to the dealer to get fixed hopefully you are under warranty.

Well I have just brought my 03 M45 into the dealer today for Airbag issue. Not sure exactly what the problem is but luckily the restraint system is covered 6yr/70k miles. If you have problems get it in. I will post with what exactly the problem was.

I also am having the Fuel Gauge problem.

That was straight from the dealer. It is covered under the Vehicle Restraint System warranty. Go to a different dealer that knows what they are doing. Or call Infinity Corporate.

Here is your warranty manual for an 03. Page 6 shows that the Restraint System is covered under the Powertrain Warranty. This is your entire warranty manual, print it out and throw it in their face!!!

Damn, thanks a lot. I will do that. I called the dealer and they told me it would not be covered, but now that I have this, I think things will change.

I had my airbag light go on in my M45 and my indy took out the passenger side airbag switch and cleaned and it cleared the code. It hasn't come back since. I also had the fuel gauge problem and they replaced the instrument cluster under my extended warranty.

Dude, you are the best. I called that number you gave me and was instructed to call the dealer back. So, I called the dealer back and all of a sudden, it is under warranty. I owe you big time. thx

Yep. It was the driver side module. Dealer replaced it under warranty and gave me a free G35x for the weekend while they had it. Out of pocket expense= $0.
