I have a 2003 Infiniti M45 with standard screen w/o Navigation. I want to put Navigation in it. Is it away can upgrade to the screen that has Navigation? Are the connections behind the dash to do this? Please advise.

I know on the 06+ most were pre-wired if I recall for Navigation (but not DVD). Someone with a Y34 might be able to chime in.

Well, I am not certain if the y34s came prewired behind the head unit, but to get functional navigation you'll need at minimum:
- An AV/ Navi control unit for the navigation DVD (trunk mounted)
- The proper screen you mentioned
- A GPS antenna (rear parcel shelf mounted)
Just saying that you might need to gather a few more components to make this work.

I also looked at an old picture and it doesn't seem like my 03 is prewired for the GPS antenna.

At best you'll have a nav system from 2003 (slow, clunky, poor interface) for which there have been no map updates since 2008.
Not worth the expense & time. I understand that you might just want it because it's possible but once you see what it involves, you'll end that effort.

I see people selling the NAV Screen and Bezel on the internet. What would I get I I just purchased those items? Are the connections there to hook up those 2 items? This is a car I am hoping to get 3, 4 or maybe another 5 years out of and I would love to do some upgrades to the car that will keep stock as possible. I may even keep it forever because I know it is a collectors car.
