Does anyone have any idea or suggestion as to get the best price from the dealer for my 30,000 mile scheduled maitenance. I lease the car which goes back in December so i don't want to spend big bucks since I'm turning it back in! I thought there was a spread sheet out there with the pricing but i can't find one in the search menu.

Really theres not much to the 30k service.. Probably want to replace your cabin filters, air filter, and fuel filter... Thats about it though, the spark plugs arent until 60k

Thanks, Wes!

One additional point I would make is that the 30k service includes some things that you can consider delaying since you will be returning the car in December. Like a tire rotation for example. The dealers certainly like to expand on the Infiniti list in the manuals, although their recommendation are not entirely without merit per se!

OTOH, not to pick on you per se, Sidvicious, but I will have to also admit that I will never buy a lease return again (given the problems with the 1995 Q45 I purchased in 1998), because lessors do not seem to want to treat their car like long-term owners would! Oh, well.

Hey all,

While needing to change my in-cabin air filter due to some odd smells and turning 30,000 miles, I checked my "trusty" Infiniti Dealer for the filter. They tell me $109.20 for just the filter. I called Joe @888-216-5328, what a source!! He sold me @ $58.00/ea. so I bought 2. Thanks for the contact with Joe and I will be buying all parts from him.

Great website NICOCLUB!!

Dropping off my 03 M45 in Thursday to get the 30k check up. Dealer quoted me $580.00. Hopefully they give me a new 45 as a loaner:-)

That's not a bad price. Dealers in Indianapolis quoted me $760.00.

Good luck on the new M45 loaner. If you do get it make sure to report your thoughts on it back to us. Maybe a little 2003 vs. 2006 comparison.

I just picked up my car yesterday. Here's what was done:LOF; Replace Air filter; Transmission "transfusion" w Jmatic; Cooling system flush; Grand Total $406.37 Rotors resurfaced and 4 wheel alignment done under warranty. I'm glad the cabin and seat filters weren't replaced which would've added $200.00 bucks at least.

It's a lot, yes, but keep in mind that a proper transmission flush is not easy to do. It requires sophisticated equipment and lots of J fluid ATF (more expensive than other brands) to do it right. Simply "transmission fluid exchangers" are not enough!
