I was driving my car around in very hot Dallas today, then parked it for a couple hours. When I came back out and started it up, I noticed some smoke pass by my passenger window. I thought someone was having a barbecue, but it had actually come out of my tailpipe. It was gray in color. I went to the back of my car and saw a small amount of smoke still coming out the tailpipe. I shut the car off, then turned it back on again. The smoke disappeared.

The car used a quart of oil in about 650 miles after the oil change. I put a quart in, and it is used about 1/4 of a quart in less than 200 miles. Something tells me this is bad :tisk:

Also, yesterday I was stuck in very slow moving traffic for at least 20 minutes. It was close to 100 degrees, and something made me look down at my temp gauge. It was slowly moving up towards hot. I s*** the air off and opened the windows, and the temp went down to normal. After I got out of traffic. I turned on the air again, and once again the temp started getting hotter. Today, I drove about 40 miles at between 70-80 miles an hour on a tollway with the air on. The temp fif not move. But later in the day when I was doing stopping and starting city driving, the temp started going up again.

This car is giving me nightmares. 132,999 miles. Needs engine and trans mounts, front suspension work, the power steering moans, and now these 2 added worries. I have never purchased a used car that has come up with so many issues in the first two months of ownership. I should have had a mechanic check it over first.
