The power seat on my I35 will not move forward or back. It will rise and lower and the recline also works. When you hit the front/back switch you hear a clicking sound. I do not know if it is a fuse or a bad motor. If it is a fuse, does anyone know which one it is. I looked at the fuse boxes and can not figure out which one is for the power seats.

its not the fuse cause the fuse for the power seat motor would have stopped all movements seems like its stuck with something maybe something fell between the gears of the motor i would say pull out the seat and check it fairly easy only four bolts on the seat brackets....

This has happened to me twice. The first time it cleared up on its own, I fixed it again today... I think the seat was simply stuck so while knealing just outside the car I kinda punched the front of the seat and that did the trick. I'm guessing that i had it back to the rear limit of travel and it just got stuck. I may try to shoot some lubricant up there.

Thanks TNICCUM, a good punch did the trick. Thanks for all the help.

Could be a coin stuck in the track. The punch might just reposition the coin, letting it work. Take a look, you'll probably find something in the track.
