Service engine light comes on, slip light is on, and the TCS light is on. The car is difficult to start but it eventually does. All of those lights stay on but sometimes they go off, it varies. Sometimes the engine dies when driving so I have to put it in neutral and pull off to a side street.

I had the cam sensor replaced and it was fine for a few minutes, then it died on me. Then I replaced that sensor with an official one from Nissan, which also didn't help. I also replaced my battery with a new one to see if that'd help but no go. I checked the alternator and the battery is telling me about 13.8 when turning on the lights and revving the engine so I'm thinking the alternator is ok.

What else should I check for?

Can you drive it to an auto parts store like AdvanceAuto and get them to use their reader to show the check engine light diagnostic code?

I had a local mechanic do that for me and he said it gave him a bad sensor reading. So then we changed it out two times and the problem still persists. I can possibly get a code for you if you need it though.

Code will help tell us what sensor is bad and if there could be any other related issues.

Sounds like the Camshaft Position Sensors to me. I had a similar issue on my 04 I35 and replacing these sensors rectified the problem.
