This evening I had put my I35 in Park while I shoveled my driveway to get up it. I went back in and noticed all of the ABS,TCS,and Slip lights were on. I drove it for a bit but due to all the snow I really couldnt get a feel for how it drove. There is a ton of snow cramed into the wheels and front components of course. Could this be this be the reason why these lights all went on?

Hopefully it's just a glitch due to accumulation of snow i the wheel well. However, it's possible that a wheel sensor/harness could have been damaged. The ABS/TCS/SLIP systems share the usage of the wheel sensors as well as some components in the ABS. So if a wheel sensor or an ABS Relay Unit has gone bad, the ABS/TCS/SLIP lights turn on.

First thing I would check is Fuse 31 in the fusebox under the dash. That is the fuse for the ABS and TCS systems.

There is a wheel speed sensor just behind each wheel hub. Generally they're pretty well protected since snow or water would have to get in between the brake disc and the disc shroud. But I guess it's possible some snow got in there and gummed things up temporarily. Unfortunately to even get a look at any of the sensors you'll have to remove the wheel, brake caliper, and brake disc for that wheel. The sensor consists of what looks a gear and the actual sensor itself. The gear doesn't actually drive anything, but rather produces magnetic pulses that the sensor reads. So there's no physical interference to look for. Ensuring the gear spins properly is about all you can determine from a visual inspection.

If you suspect the wheel speed sensors and don't feel like pulling your brakes off, the dealer can run a TCS system diagnosis. It'll pinpoint any bad components of the system pretty specifically.

Thanks for the advice, after letting it sit overnight the lights went off shortly after I drove it this morning. Hopefully just a glitch.

Did they go away, with no "Service Engine Soon" light?

My I30 seems to show the TCS and SLIP when it hesitates, I got misfire codes. Taking it in for a tune soon.

You might as well get the fault code so you have an idea about the problem before taking it to a shop to avoid getting ripped off.
