I bought my car around this time in 2007. After getting my oil changed at Goodyear yesterday, they informed me that I needed new tires. These were my quotes.Assurance Fuelmax 65,000mile 152.95/tire 709.90 totalEagle GT 50,000mile 142.95/tire 667.50 totalBFG Advantage 50,000mile 137.95/tire 646.30 total

I don't know anything about tires. I'm not sure if anybody had recommendations of a good tire not listed, place to have them installed, etc. Thanks.

Your tires need to be load rated between 92 and 95, and should have a speed rating of V or better.

For example, you'd want a tire size: 215/55R17 93VOpen your drivers door and look at the sticker on the body below the striker and you'll see the size and speed rating required for your car.

I put Yokohama Avids on my wife (05 G Sedan) and daughter's cars (00 Max).Have been very pleased.Check TIRERACK.COM for OE replacements and tire review.

I've had good luck getting deals at DISCOUNT Tire stores.

Also, depends on what you want to get out of a tire - performance, longevity, wet/snow.... Tirerack will help there too.
