I was just wondering if there were any recommendations for improving the gas mileage. I purchased a K&N airfilter hoping it would help but did not I average about 18.6 currently any suggestions ??

Depending on driving habits and city or highway driving, 18-20 city is about average. The most I have ever gotten on the highway is 26-27.

Our 05 sedan once got 26.75 mpg on a hw trip. That was the best it ever got. This was with an OEM filter.
I experienced a drop in MPG with a K&N drop in filter. called K&N and they said that they advertise increase in performance not MPG....so I took it out.
However, I have experienced increase in MPG with several other cars with K&N,

You might want to consider switching all fluids to synthetic. I've heard that will free up some HP and possibly increase MPG.

Also, make sure your tires are properly inflated.

Oh, and welcome to Nico!! :wavey:

I improved MPG with almost all the mods i did. Intake/Exhaust/Headers/HFC/Plenum spacer + TUNE

I average around 20 MPG with normal driving, on the HWY i was around 25-28 up a solid 3 MPG. When i changed rear end gearing I lost a few on the HWY for increased acceleration.
