I plan on replacing the entire strut assembly - shock and spring

1) jacked left side and removed left front tire
2) Disconnected brake lines from strut
3) Removed 3 nuts under hood on top strut mount
4) Removed nut and bolt on the bottom of strut

What is next? More to unbolt or do I need to compress the spring (and somehow the shock) to get the strut assembly free?

Thanks in advance - T
