2003 G35 Sedan, 6MT

I'm sure ya'll have heard it plenty of times... well I just got rid of my 6 yr owning, 200k mile 99 Maxima SE-L (Gotta love the VQ30DE) w/5mtx, for this beautiful G35 03 6MT... LOVE IT.

Few questions- 1. The sedans are detuned by 20HP, mainly by the intake/exhaust? Is there anything I can do to get an easy HP gain without tweaking the exhaust for a much louder note?

2. Will the tail lights off of an 05-06 sedan fit on an 03-04? The shape of them looks similar, but can't be so sure.

If you check some of the past threads, they will point you to an intake spacer, Z-tube, and possibly a pop charger or stillen intake.

Not sure if this will add up to the 20HP you are looking for, but other members here seem to be very pleased with these mods.

Underdrive pulleys seem to be fairly popular, but not as popular as the above.

I've got the Z-tubes & K&N drop in filter in mine. Next, will be a spacer for me and possibly a grounding kit (auto transmission).

Get a coupe midpipe if you don't want the roar of the stillen cat back, also, the intake is rediculous in the G35, it has like 5 chambers, just get a cheap intake on ebay, hack it in half and stick it into your factory air box, that will replicate the "Z - tube" but again, you won't find 20hp in this manner... you'll need to look at a few other things as well, like mentioned above, crank pulleys, grounding kit (5AT) and FI!!!

I have a fujita intake, but I think I lost power at low RPM, and gained a little at 4k+...

Either way, it's going to sound bad azz when you put anything into it, as I've learned.
