Ok i just recently got this car and the brakes are squeeking bad once i brought it home at 58k miles. This is the g35 equipped with brembos. Should i replace the rotors and brakes? Also i saw some on ebay the drilled slot rotors and brake pads but for the pads I want to go with the Hawk brand.

Got my G35 used and the dealer had just put on new Nissan pads. I don't think he turned the rotors cause they squeel like a pig.I did take them off and put some anti-squeel-like-a-pig goo on the back which helped for a while, but they are squeeling again......for now, I just turn up the radio. Sorry, no help....other than a bump.

I would do an inspection to see if the brake pads are worn down and if the rotors need resurfacing. If so, either get the Hawk pads or the Project MU NS street pads. Both will have a tremendous amount of less dust. Slotted and drilled rotors are over kill for street driven cars. Just get some blank rotors and save some money. Install the parts yourself and save even more. Just be sure to use some anti squeal on the back of the pads when installing the new ones.
