2003 G35 Battery Special or Regular??

I am having my oil change at the nissan dealer and I had them check my battery because lately it has been starting on the weak side like when your battery is low. The guy called me and said the battery was going out. Now he says that the battery is not a normal battery that it takes a special battery . So I ask is that true and do they sell at local autoparts? Thanks
