I have a 2003 fx45 4.5 liter V8 I believe camshaft crankshaft sensors are bad and need replaced . I have tried to Google or YouTube it cannot find any videos on how to replace those sensors on a fx45. Anyone have any idea where they are located and how to get to them or a link to a video showing how to replace. The engine will just die while I'm driving it's very dangerous check engine light on once the car starts back up it will have the LCD slip off will light up.

Hello and welcome to Nicoclub.

To help us help you better, please post the exact trouble code related to your issue so we can address it promptly.

From the symptoms, I assume it is a P0340 code, so these links should help. The first link should get you sorted, or just type the code into the search bar, especially the M45 subforum if you want more info and related posts with regards to this particular issue.

Here's a link to help you locate the camshaft sensor. Just remember that there is only one camshaft sensor. It is the same part as used for the crankshaft sensor under the vehicle at the bellhousing.

Same engine. I have a 2003 fx45 and had a similar issue a couple weeks back with those sensors. I was getting a high idle and CEL. After reading the codes, I found a P1145 error. I swapped #1 sensors in the diagram above and got a P1140 error. That confirmed the one sensor was bad. I got a new sensor from eBay and the cars been happy since.

The sensors are held in by one bolt and an o-ring... you might need some force to pry them out
