I'm looking to put my 03 on a car dolly an tow it, but I need to disconnect the driveshaft. I've got the 6 bolts out, but it doesn't want to separate. Any ideas on how to break it free?

Also, I see a bushing about 3 feet in front of the differential. Do I need to remove the 2 bolts for that?

I'm guessing you've removed the 6 bolts holding the drive shaft to the diff, correct? I've removed the driveshaft from my car multiple times, and I've not been able to get it loose without unhooking the carrier bearing (which is the bushing you're referring to).. By loosening that you should be able to free the driveshaft from the differential.

I had to hit on the back of the shaft with a punch to get it to break free. I also took the carrier bearing loose to get about an inch between the back of the driveshaft and the differential. I'm going to try to figure out a way to get a little more space in there before I tow it again. I don't like those two items being that close together when one is spinning and the other is not.
