Hey guys you've been asking for it, so I came up with it, check it out and I hope to see everyone there

I have put together a venue for the Central Texas Nissan meet of 2003.It will be at Zilker Park, in Austin, Texas (I have rented an area of the park) Saturday July 26th from 4 PM until the park closes at 10 PM.

If you want to bring food please feel free to do so, there are a couple of BBQ pits that we can use. I was thinking about having a huge potluck style event. This event is free to attend and is open to all owners of Nissans modified or not. Here's the important part though I NEED TO KNOW IF YOUR COMING OR NOT, please shoot me an e-mail if you are. For more info please visit http://www.sr20detinfo.com I have directions etc posted there.

Thanks guys look foward to seeing you thereChris Morrow

*Note to mods* Could this thread be stickyed please?

Chris, my wife and I will definitely be there. I know that two of my friends with pretty nice S13's will also tag along wit me and I will see if I can talk Avery into coming.

I am not telling you that your place is bad or anyting (have never seen it, nor do I know whee it is) but do you think there is any chance we could have it at the park own by the lake on Lime Creek road? That way we could have a BBq, go to the lake and drive on one of the best roads in central texas when we are done.

Either way, I am still in...

Well I'd love to, but Zilker park has allready been reserved, and Zilker does have all that you listed except for the roads, its got shade, swimming, BBQ pits, water for cooking and what not. I was kinda thinking that because they will be kicking us out at 10 PM anyway, maybe we could cruise after that. Looking foward to see all you guys there. Chris

oh, BTW, how far away is this park thing from the Lime Creek area? We could meet say an hour and a half or two hours early, run LCR a few times and then head to the park. LCR is one of the coolest roads here in Texas, I have only seen it bested by the "million dollar highway" in Colorado...

Lime Creek Rd is about 30-45 minutes away from Zilker Park. If you're going to go for a cruise on Lime Creek, I'd like to go i live only a couple minutes from there.

Hey everybody, since the meet is about a week away, just thought I'd post a little update. I'm going to bring my gas grill down to the event, and I'll also bring some coolers and some ice. What I'm asking is that if you want to BBQ, please bring your own stuff. I'll provide utensils and what not, but bring your own meat and what not. Also please bring some drinks, a cooler if you have one, and maybe some ice. Thanks and looking foward to seeing ya'll Chris

hey guys, my wife and I should still be coming with our 240's. I am also sure that Bbandit and another friend of ours will also be coming. I am going to talk to Avery and see if he will be able to hang out. But anyway, we *definitely* want to run Lime Creek, so I propose that we meet somewhere in roundrock at approximately 1pm or so and then go run the road a few times. Hell we could probably run comanche trail too. Anyway, post back here or something...

OK, great Kevy, I unfortunatly, am not going to be able to make a pre-meet run at lime creek, as I have to get everything organized for when everyone shows up. I would be up to a post meet run, but if ya'll dont want to do that I understand. Looking foward to seeing ya'll there. Chris

Yes, that is the idea. Do you have any suggestions? I know that last time I ran it with Club 4AG we met at the Wal Mart on the big road that lime creek dumps to (13something...) but I suppose we could also meet at the IHOP at the corner of 620 and 183 at about 1pm.

Sound good?

lol, is it all about entry speed :D

Anyway, I talked to Stephen and Oke and both of them said that they will come. So there will be *at least* 5 people coming from College Station. That right there is a meet in itself :)

How many people are interested in doing the Lime Creek run just so we don't leave anyone behind.

That sounds fine to me. I probably won't be able to keep up but it will be fun anyways. What time do you think you will be meeting at IHOP?

And King, I didn't mean to leave you out, it is just that you never do anything with us :D

That's cool, i found directions to the IHOP so i figured i could just follow somebody the rest of the way. It's a friggen 4 hour drive from Dallas but i think it'll be worth it. Im a hard core nissan fanatic. Im gonna leave here at about 8:30-9:00 (so much for sleep) so i should be there by 1:00. If not anybody who's waitin for me just shout me on my cell. I'll give Chris the number and i'll let him know weather im gonna make it or not.

Just wanted to say thanks to all who showed for the event, and for anyone who wants to know, we had a really good turn out, I would estimate 50+ cars and 85+ people. We had DNE, HNE, Capitol Z of Texas, Team Nismo of Austin, and Houston Z represented. We also had a bunch of unaffiliated Nissan owners who just came to have fun. If anyone had pics that they want/need posted, let me know and I can host them. Thanks again Chris
