Has anyone experienced their stereo sounding like crap to the point that you can't listen to it? I took it to get looked at by two separate places (infiniti and local stereo shop) one place says it's the tuner and the other (infiniti dealer) doesn't know and wants to take out the entire head unit including my AC/Heat controls and send it off to get repaired (4 weeks of heat w/no A/C). Therefore I've trusted the stereo place and want to order just the tuner, but can't find nothing online. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find junk parts for the vehicle or if you recommend that I just go through infiniti.

Hello,With a car that had such low production numbers, your best bet will probably be a dealer. Infiniti of Scottsdale has a large online parts department and offers a discount for NICO members. Also you will need to specify whether your car is equipped with NAV (7" Screen) or non NAV (5.8" screen)Good Luck,ML

Unfortunately, no longer a Nissan or Infiniti, but continuing here at NICO!

Yes. A few end up in a junk yard though ...

Also correct. The web site is http://www.everythinginfiniti.com ... you can also call and speak with Joe Tsensky. Tell him you are with NICO.

I believe (but am not sure) that the console is physically different too, right? In other words, if you currently have a 5.8" screen, you cannot install the 7.0" screen, and vice-versa, because of the console size difference.

Can someone confirm this observation for the 2003 and 2004 M45's?
