I read some people having probs with the 6mt. Other than that, are there any other bugs associated with the 2003's? I'm considering getting one for my daily driver and i need something thats gonna go 150k miles without any major probs.

Thanks for your help!

Hello Tick....your best bet is to go to this link:

What do you define as a major problem? How many miles per year [15 x10 years =150k]. Generally around 8 cents per mile covers maintenance and repairs except for tires and brakes. Many components are designed to last 100k minimum.

AC might be a cost factor if you don't periodically service the compressor oil and change receiver dryers to remove system moisture!

Most sensitive ownwers replace all shocks every 60K [2 sets], suspension rubber isolated components may need replacing at intervals.

$12,000 should cover [$1200 per year prorated [$600 in warranty and $1800 after] plus tires and brakes.

The question is when you hit 150k how much will you leave undone.......most used cars [Nissan brands] in this price range are sold because they get a repair quote for $3,000.

Thanks for the the input guys. That one site has been really helpful. It seems that the g35 are a bit buggier than the IS300 (the other car I'm considering). I drive about 30k miles a year and need something thats gonna last. I was really leaning towards the g35 for it's performance, but now i'm torn.

70k..Up to 150k I would give the edge to Lexus..........based on history from 150-250k both Brands tend to equalize in cost.

The Inline 6 is bullet proof if you change the oil frequently along with timing BELT..............This will be a cost item 100-120k replacement of IS300 belt and water pump tensioners etc. $1000.
