2003 ALTIMA 2.5S HIGH IDLE SPEED.

hi there ,i have a 2003 Altima 2.5S,and my "check engine" light came on, i took it to a mechanic shop, the scanner displays a high engine idle speed.and it's true when i shift the stick to P or N idle speed goes high.anybody's help would be appreciatedThanks

Did you recently have the Engine ECM reprogram recall done? If so, they may have not gotten to the complete status with the idle air relearn phase.

thanks for the answer, no haven't had that done, i will take it this week, do i need to change the idle control valve? or it's just a matter of reprogramming the ECM ?Ryan
