Are you sure about the year?sleep_er wrote:I just realized mine does not have that knob to change settings. It just has the gear selector next to the other selector (drive, reverse, park etc). Do I try the same procedure? Thank you
Cool. Learn something every day.Towncivilian wrote:The 2003 FSM lists both the TX10A (manual) and ATX14A (auto) transfer cases.
Thank you, will give that a try. Any idea on what could cause it to just stop? It's as if all the hubs just lock and won't roll not even in neutral, also the manual transfer case will not allow me to change to Any other settings.Towncivilian wrote:The 2003 FSM lists both the TX10A (manual) and ATX14A (auto) transfer cases. The manual transfer case doesn't seem to have a diagnosis procedure listed under its section.
I would check the fluid level (or just change it if you don't remember the last time it's been changed - use any synthetic ATF claiming to meet Dexron III specifications).
Also, perhaps try running the automatic transmission diagnosis described on page"><span>http</span><span>://</span><span>www</span><span>.</span><span>nicoclub</span><span>.</span><span>com</span><span>/</span><span>FSM</span><span>/</span><span>Pathfinder</span><span>/</span><span>2003</span><span>_</span><span>Pathfinder</span><span>/</span><span>at</span><span>.</span><span>pdf</span><span>]</span><span>page</span></a> AT-49 of the factory service manual to see if that yields any codes.
