I have a 2003 350Z that so far I have bought a Nismo cold air intake. I am interested in buying an Invidia N1 exhaust due to its low cost. Personally, I would prefer a Stillen dual exhaust, but I am not sure I could ever afford that (hell I'm lucky enough to even have the car). What does anyone think of the Invidia? Also I am trying to figure out any other mods that are reletively cheap that would add some good power/ reduce weight. Any ideas?

Just search the forum, there are tons of posts in here about mods and their costs. Unfortunately it is the same way with the Z that it is with any other car (just amplified) upgrades cost money.

I don't know much about the invidia but the stillen seems like a really nice exhaust offering the most hp and it sounds really good. I would say say look into the Greddy Ti-c True Dual. If you do enough looking you can get one a little less than a grand shipped and still get the great sound and quality Greddy offers.

GReddy? That sounds like a good idea. I really wanted to go true dual. If I can get a good one for a good price that sounds perfect. Thanks for the tip on that one!

Had the Greddy EVo2 true dual on mine and loved it.

The 2 best mods that I did on my '03 350 was the Jim Wolf light weight flywheel, which helped low end power, and a Crawford intake Plenum, which helped in the upper RPM's. They made a very noticeable difference. I also had on it the Wolf pop-charger intake, Kinetix high flow cats and a Nismo cat-back exhaust, that combination sounded incredible!

The exhaust style is going to depend on your taste as far as visibility and sound. I personally didn't want one that you could tell from the back was an aftermarket. That's why I chose the Bassani. It's a true dual with an X-Crossover and has great sound without being obnoxious.

Plus, being kinda stealthy, it doesn't attract unwanted attention from the cops or street racers or people who might want to snag it if it were left in an airport garage, you know?
