2003-2004 m45 / y34 Ball Joints

It's true the 03-04 m45 used the 02-06 q45 front lower control arm with "pressed in" ball joints, however if you have a press why can't the ball joint simply be replaced? Has anyone found a legitimate ball joint to do this? Surely we don't need to spend $200 for a new arm, if you can replace the $10 ball joint. Doesn't Nissan have a part number or xref for these lower ball joints????
