2003 1.8L sentra wont start on the first crank, faulty starter?

i have a 2003 sentra 1.8L that wont start on the first crank, usually it will start on the second crank, and if not it will on the 3rd crank. I heard that this model of sentras' have a faulty starter, is this to blame? if not i thought that it might be related to a low fuel pressure? if not does anyone know whats wrong with this sentra? anyone have similar problems?

Fuel pump and ECU issues tend to have those symptoms. Contact the dealer and have them run your VIN.

Probably the damn fuel pump, was on mine with 44,000 miles on it, there is a bulletin on it.

ive searched and cant find anything on this, do you know where this bulletin can be found?

The dealer will know. Just call them with your VIN handy and they'll tell you what all applies to you. Make sure to ask about Technical Service Bulletins in addition to full-blown recalls.

there is a ntb on this issue that your haveing, they will need to apply the fix to your fuel pump. it is fuel pressure bled off after the car sits a while, waranty will replace internal parts to your fuel pump assy or if your paying the new pumps already have new parts in them as well. i would rather have a new pump installed but you can opped for whatever you want. hope you get it going good i cant tell you how many of this problem type i have repaired>
