Please help me. We own a 2002 Q45, which we have owned since it was new. It currently has 80,000+ miles. A new problem has started, upon starting the car the VDC Off light and the Slip Light appear in the dash lights. The map area then says traction alert call infiniti dealer. When you try to drive the car does not have enough revolutions, it will only move about walking speed. You can restart, the problem was correcting itself, and the car would drive and operate properly. Now it will rarely start without these lights, and driving problems described above. I hope you might give me some direction.

Thank you for you time and help.

Karen

Oh...PS....I have searched your site and read you instruction page.

Well, with no previous maintenance history (as required when posting in IOM), tough fo rus to guide you.

I would take it to Austin Infiniti, and ask for Michael (I believe he is the senior Infiniti tehcnician) to take a look.

Karen,There are several "electonic control units" that run the various functions on this car.The suspenion system has one that controls the shocks and struts. The engine has oneThe transmision.I am sure there is a control unit for the traction control system. these unit can malfunction.

I have a 02Q45 and have been on two forums for the last 2 yrs. I have not heard of a similar problem before you.The dealership needs to run a diognostic. There are a couple of Infiniti techs who might post some more info in the next day or so

Read the sticky there and you will see. She also double posted there.

Ah, you need to spend more time here and not so much on that Far Away poseur forum. If you are interested in performance and enhanced functioning of your automobile, that is.
