2002 spec 0-60?????

okay i have heard so many different times for the 2002 spec to get up to 60mph. all the way from 6.7-8.1. i know for sure it is not close to 8 seconds. does anyone know the correct time or what they got on their 2002 spec when it was stock or with little mods?

The 02's gearing makes it such that you have to shift twice to hit 60, thus the slower time. Those with newer transmissions (a number of 02 trans failed) may have gotten the newer ratios.

so would the S-ER be faster 0-60 since you dont have to switch as much?

Probably, but it doesn't have the LSD, so it won't be faster with mods.

Furthermore, unless this is purely a race car that tops out at 60, there's no reason it would matter.

well i mean i dont know if i will have a ton of money once i buy it. i may buy one with mods already. what would be a good one?

I'd avoid buying a modded car because it's probably been ragged out.

No. Pretty much everything is fairly easy to access on B15s.
