2002 Sentra GXE...squeaking?

Hey guys, I just bought an 02 Sentra GXE and its in great shape, it runs great and everything. In fact coming from nothing but domestic V8s and Jeep Wranglers, the 30mpg gas mileage is holy bleeping ****! but there is something that is more of an annoyance and thats whenever I go over a rough road, a pothole, or even a road reflector I hear a high pitched squeak noise. Its definitely coming from the front end. Any way I can pinpoint this noise down to something? Is this a common problem? Any ideas?

I'm 6000 miles, and the Pacific Ocean's width away from home, so I dont have any tools and really cant do anytihng to this car at all which sucks, but Id like to go into a shop with a little more than "its squeaks" and have to listen to their BS about how it needs a new transmissions or whatever they come up with.

Possibly the strut mount or bearing. You may even check the front bumper support. The wifes car came loose on one side and it caused quite an annoyance.Welcome to NICO!

The bumper sounds like a good idea because I think it was in a minor fender bender earlier in its past (Hey it was driven by an air force chick! haha) Ill check it out

Edit: I just went out there and jumped on it and shook it around, the entire front end and the bumper, nothing made any noise at all..

hmm, maybe I can jack up the front end and do something then? Maybe its more a wheel issue?

Probably will be some type of suspension issue. Did you try pushing down on either side of the car by the front wheels. It may only occur when the suspension loads up. Something is either worn out or loose.
