2002 Sentra GXE reverse lights no work =[ (help)

Has anyone ever had the reverse lights go out and have no idea how to fix them? I've checked all the fuses and everything and even tested the bulbs, but they just don't come on...any advice?

Since the fuses and bulbs check out I'd assume a wire is frayed/shorted/etc. I'm pretty sure those wires run under the car, grab the FSM (link in my sig) to check.

It could be the reverse light switch. From what I've been able to find it's "on the back of the transmission." The manual presumably has a picture of where exactly.
