2002 QX4 Steering Wheel

Hey all,

I have a 2002 QX4 and noticed the other day that some thread is coming out of the seams on the steering wheel at the 8 o'clock position. What can I do about this? Is the only solution a steering wheel cover at this point?

Ebay, $150ish for good condition.

Or this stitch on wheel cover works pretty good, I used this sellers kit grey on my dads f150 and it looks great. You have to switch it on yourself though, took about 2 hours to make perfect, and it looks quality

Thank you for your replies! If I were to get a new steering wheel, how does the air bag and other electric components hook up? Is it easy to replace a steering wheel?
Also, the suggestion for the stitched steering wheel looks good, but I like the wood grain details on the OEM wheel.
