2002 QX4 Rear Hatch Window Nut Replacement

Hello everyone,

I notice on my rear hatch window that the two nuts that attach through the strut to hold the window on is starting rust on the outside. I want to order the part through the dealership but i am not sure what they are called. Also, how do you replace them? Below is a link to a pic that shows the two nuts. They are about 1" diameter black nuts at the bottom of the glass on the left and right hand side level with the handle.

If you are going to order them through the dealership, just take the truck down, point, and say "I need two of those."

It's called a COVER-BACK DOOR STAY... The quivalent part number for a pathfinder is 90424J... If tit's not the same part number, then this should be enough for them to know what you're talking about.... It's about 15$ each.

Old thread, closest thing to what I am looking for. I need the 2 struts that keep the rear window open. Has Anyone replaced these before?? Nissan prices are somewhere in the ballpark of $80 each I believe. I have received a set of Strong Arms but they dont have ballstud ends on both sides. Also received a pair of Stabilus, they appear to be for the entire liftgate assm.

Anyone have Stabilus equivalent part no?? THANKS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
