2002 QX4 A/C Problem

When I start the QX4 the A/C blower starts blowing (fan only). When I press the a/c button, cold air comes out. The problem is that I cannot control the fan speed. It continues to blow cold air constantly and I cannot adjust it or turn it off. Any ideas as to what the problem is?

Replace the fan control amplifier. See this thread.

Towncivilian - I followed the thread you suggested and it worked out perfectly! I bought the module assembly from ebay and installed it myself...quick and easy. Thanks to you and the guy that provided the detailed thread. Happy holidays.
