2002 QX4 A/C & Heating Buttons Not Functioning

Hello,

The history of the issue i am facing is that the buttons for turning on A/C or Heating Unit has stopped functioning. I have a '02 QX4 with Nav. On the left of the screen are the GPS buttons and on the right of the screen are the buttons for the A/C and heater. My car was idle for a couple of days and when i started the car, the buttons for A/C and heater just simply stopped working. The GPS buttons are still functioning. I thought it might be the fuse, but i check all reasonable fuses located inside the car and all of them seem to be okay. Has anyone else faced this problem and might be able to help me out solve it before i take it to the dealership as a last resort? Also note, that none of the buttons are working for the A/C or heating. When i press Off, nothing happens and no noise is heard. When i press the circulation button, nothing happens. However, as car is driving, i can feel hot hair coming out of the vents. Please help....

I have never heard of this, but my first step would be to disconnect the battery overnight and see if you reset something...
