2002 qx4 4x4 front suspension bobbling.

My font suspension is wobbling and making a wobble sound when i go over any bumps big or small. Im not sure what it is firestone told me the ball joints need to be replaced. Please help..

2) The description of your problem sounds...rushed? Is a firestone mechanic holding a gun to your head and saying you've got 30 seconds to autorize him to do the work?

3) What is wobbling? There are lots of parts to your suspension. Take a deep breath, slow down, and explain the issue. We'll try to help!

thank you this web site is great. yes it did sound like they were trying to hit me with a bunch of stuff that didnt need to be repaired. When i drive my car i can tell something is wrong in the front because its not firm and sturdy like it used to be. Its kind of hard to explain; it drives great until i go over any bumps or uneven pavement and then i can feel some play in the front. My qx4 doesnt shake side to side it just feels loose when the suspension goes up and down. it makes a bobble sound when i hit any uneven surface, like a speed bump, a dip in the road, cracks in the pavement, or potholes. im not exactly sure whats wobbling i think its the wheels or something close to the wheels because thats where i hear the sounds. when i feel and hear the bobbling its coming from both sides of the front and not the middle.
