Hey does anyone know how I can replace the factory Bose subwoofer with something better. Thanks

only if you get an rca converter in order to add an amplifier and a sub. There arent any subs (aftermarket) that have .5 ohm resistance to directly replace the Bose sub. If you went with a dual 2 ohm voicecoil sub you might be able to run it at 1 ohm resistance but it would be at half the power. NOT GOOD. So adding an amp and replacing the sub with something from the aftermarket is the way to go. I have seen a couple of these cars done this way. I actually did the sub replacement in a Cadillac STS that had a factory Bose 12. We put in a kicker freeair 12 and a 300 watt Soundstream amp with the Bose RCA converter. It was really sweet.
