The info says it is a emissions problem. All ready checked the gas cap. After a few drives the light is still on. Anybody know how to reset this and see if it comes back?

Read codes stored with generic obd2 scanner, inspect and address reasons codes are appearing, then reset.

thx for the info.In my old Caddy those codes would appear in the digital display with the touch of a few buttons.I was hoping this car would display these codes the same way without any extra gadgets.O well.Dealer time.

Poopboys,Advanced, most other auto stores sell obd2 code readers that display codes and can reset light- Actron makes one starting at $50.00- I have this one, good to have around and will cost less than 1 trip to dealer to read codes.

Biggest thieves? Check the average dealer's books and you will find the service department barely breakeven at best.............dealerships only make money selling used cars and parts.

Why everyone pays for diagnosis now.

Thieves, I needed a new Q45 emblem.Called my local dealer he gave me a price of $36.00 for a piece of plastic with sticky adhesive. Went to pick it up and the parts guy tried to charge me $75.00 for the same part until I mentioned the price I was given over the phone!! He just said oh and changed the price. These cars are pricey and I guess that means stick it to the owners anyway you can.

How about $36.00 for the plastic card that holds the wallet key. At least the one in my Lexus had a transponder in it so I could start the car if I held the key holder close to the ignition.
