Impul F55

Mode Parfume

Insurance Ambition

The Impul kit is more similar to the original body design and seems to turn the car into more of a sport luxury styling. This one would be my cheapest option as I only need the sideskirts.

The Mode Parfume is the second in price and is fairly similar to the Insurance kit. It gives the car more of a VIP/pure luxury styling.

The Insurance kit is the most expensive and the car I originally going to duplicate as I already have the wheels.

Oh, and can any one help me on getting some of these parts and shipped to Vancouver Canada without having to pay a fortune?

You will need to order a bumper reinforcement from the CimaF50. The Jap Cima has a smaller reinforcement then the U.S Q45.

Insurance kit looks nice though.

The Mode Parfume kit has the cleanest looking rear that I 've seen for these kits.

I also like how the side skirts blend well into the rest of the car's lines. It appears that other kits always seem to fail on the side skirts, and put too much emphasis on the front and then the rear.

Aside from the Axis project car, I don't think I've ever seen a US car with one of these kits.

Does this invite sure death in the future if the US DOT-approved bumpers are replaced with shorter JDMs?

The Mode Parfum and Insurance F50's are freakin beautiful!!! However,

Impul need to pull their heads out of their asses. 15" wheels with 7" sidewall tires look like shat, this isn't the 80's.

DruDru, don't be so sarcastic, of COURSE it invites sure death, and the car will probably implode too.

I've killed a F50 already. Airbags didn't come out. the reinforcement was bent. I can't imagine how it would have been with the JDM reinforcement.

Ok, I didn't think much about the bumper reinforcement, I wonder how hard it would be to get one. I figure I can make a new one or modify and reinforce the stock one. I currently have the Impul bumper sitting on the shelf. I doubt any of you know this, and I wasn't going to let it out of the bag yet, but I bought the Supercharged F50 that has been sitting at STI, just waiting for the title to come before Sammy ships it to me. I'm going to turn it back to stock and put the SC and the exhaust/rear bumper onto my car since that SC'ed F50 is not a premium model that mine is. My car is getting a very large stereo install at the moment and nearly 200lbs of equipment is being added. Therefore, I may have to convert to coilovers so that I can raise the ride height and avoid further camber problems.

That's awesome! At least I got to drive that Q when it was still nice. I'm actually doing STI's business cards again as we speak, when I see Sammy I have to tell him I know who bought the Q! Good stuff Mark.

Well, in the advertisements in the August issue of VIP Style magazine has the Impul kit for 268,000Yen, the Mode Parfume for 210,000Yen and the Insurance kit for around 250,000Yen. The prices isn't too expensive but shipping is somewhat high, and if you buy one from a shop based in the US, they pretty much double the MSRP. I need to find a way to get it shipped directly to in Canada from Japan.

From what I have been to find, freight shipping from Japan on these kits can be as high as $800.

I've been considering a kit for my F50 for over a year, but I am hesitating due to the fact that all of these kits seem to have been designed for JDM cars with the shorter bumper reinforcements.

I have been waiting to hear if anyone has successfully installed one of these kits on a US F50.

Please keep us informed on your progress...especially with the super charger!

This is JPCima F50 in Hawaii, with the Junction Produce kit. He does not have the reinforcement on his car. I test fitted the Impul kit and I *think* I had the reinforment bar on. I will probably modify or make a new one if I have to.

As for the supercharger, I will probably be installing it this winter as I have to work on my Porsche 944 Project. It got put on the back burner again with the my 2nd Q45 coming.

It's eager to get into it's new car having sat around for several months....

Whoa...so it's just hollow space behind the front bumper cover?

I wonder if that affects whether the air bags will deploy...

Is JPCima a member of this forum? I would like to "pick his brain" on how he installed this kit.
