Hi Guys,

Anyone familiar with this problem? I recently have the spark plugs changed and had the MAF (mass air flow) cleaned and sprayed down. But now the idle is stuck at 1500RPM. Any clue of whats causing this? I am clueless and need your help. Thank you in advance!

An unplugged vacuum hose can make the engine idle fast.

If it was me, I'd take a bright flashlight and go looking for hoses and connectors I forgot to re-connect when I replaced the plugs.

Was the throttle body cleaned during the process? It's possible that it was damaged if the valve was forced open during a cleaning. The motor actuated throttle bodies don't respond well to cleaning...
