I replaced the cold air intake that was cracked and caused it to idle high...P0505 code if I remember correctly. I had various makeshift fixes to seal it off and the issue would resolve itself. I finally broke down and put in the new intake assembly that attaches to the throttle body (disconnecting the battery first of course), but now it remains idling about 200-300rpms high and my mileage is of course suffering, not to mention increased stress on the affected systems. Have disconnected the battery for extended periods and cleared the codes (comes back) but issue has remained for quite some time. Any ideas or solutions?

Thanks for your help...

P0505 sounds right. There is a relearn procedure for the throttle body closed position that you can try. It's in the factory service manual (FSM) starting on page EC-45. If you haven't already downloaded a copy, it's available to www.nicoclub.com/FSM/

Thanks Heath...I did try that a few times, but am skeptical that I did it correctly. I am trying to avoid going to the dealer for a reprograming if at all possible. I appreciate your response.
