2002 Q45, Headlight Replacement

I just P/U my 2002 Infiniti yesterday, only to find out that the passenger side Headlight is blown. The highbeam still works. So assuming the whole Assembly is good. Just needs a new HID Bulb.

I have searched and then tried reading thru the FAQ, but the only thing I read is either dont attempt it, let the Dealer do it. or if you do it. The whole front clip comes off to access the Headlight, and that to get the bulb out of the actual light assemble it requires a little fishing line to remove it.

Am I missing a How to thread. Surely to gosh its not that difficult. I have had to take inner fenders off, and remove shrouds to access other cars lights but this is a first for me.

Looking for a how to instructions.

I think you are correct, except I don't remember the fishing line.

Did you check the FSM? Should be pretty explicit there. I know there is one post on the board, but I can't remember by whom.

Well thanks for the welcome... I am a member of several forums... But this is my first Infiniti or Nissan product since my old 1991 240SX.

So Far I love the car, but not so sure about... a few other things...

I have had the car two days, 1st the Headlight the wife found, and now she calls from work... Some warning ABS Brakes take to the nearest dealer light came on. I am thinking WTF...

Anyone else on the Headlight??
