2002+ Q45 headlight out...

My passenger side headlight is out completely, the H.I.D portion. My dealer is over an hour away and they were nice enough to send me a new xenon bulb.

My question is, is it the bulb that is bad? I thought a xenon bulb could never blow, just when it went bad it would shine orange?

If this is true, then the problem is somewhere else.

The bulbs can go out. Try replacing that - if it still doesn't work - it could be that the ballast has gone bad (though unlikely).
