2002 Q45 headlight bulb install?

One of my headlights burnt out, so i bought a replacement pair. They are d2r, I am just having issues getting to the old bulb. Anyone have any tips or links I can reference?

It might just be easier if someone could send me a link to download the FSM.

It would be greatly appreciated.

Need confirmation, but as I understand it, headlamp replacement involves partial front bumper removal and wheel opening cover removal, as well as air cleaner housing and engine top cover removal. It's not a fun job.

I intend to replace my high beams with brighter ones. The dealer quoted me $130 per side to do this. As much as I hate to, I'm going to pay them to do it, as I don't feel like tearing the car (2005 Q45) apart.

If you want to tackle it yourself, you can downoad the FSM from "Phat20":http://www.phatg20.net/modules...id=62

You will also need to download a trial version of "winrar", a proprietary Windows "Zip" aplication to open and read the FSM, which is in Adobe "Acrobat" format. You'll also need the free Acrobat "Reader" application.

Don't worry, it's painless, if I can do it, anyone can.

If you want to keep the "winrar" application, which you'll need to open the FSM every time you use it, after the trial period, you have to pay for it.
