Does anyone know how to reset the maintanence warning system on this year Q. I want to change my own oil without the car yelling at me all the time about needing to visit the dealer for them to do it. Anyone know how to get into that part of the menu system?

thanks

D.

Press the INFO button on the control panel.

Select the MAINTENANCE item (use the joystick highlight and then press the ENTER button).

Select the "ENGINE OIL" item. Press ENTER.

Select "RESET" item. Press ENTER.

Voila!

I tried that and mine wont let me reset it

it will let me reset the value for tire rotation but not for oil or filter. Any ideas why it would be like that?

My 2002 Q45 has had the screen replaced. The maintenace category does not always come on. The system seems a little suspect and could be one of those items that will show up as a bigger problem down the road.
