2002 Q45 front seat swap

I have a question since I have a 2002 Q45. If I swap out my front seat/seats with a 2003 or newer model with the air conditioned seats will this work on my car? If so is it an easy switch? Thanks for an information.

You May have trouble with the airbags, not sure if the seat bags are compatible year to year.

But would the air conditioning option work? I guess I'm not familiar with how it works but it seems there is a control on the seat that sets it so it looks like it comes from within the seat. Sorry guys very new to all of this. But ya may not be compatible for air bags so that may throw the system off somehow I would imagine in that respect

I have a 2002 and priced out some leather front seat bottoms at over $1000 each.

I would suggest you compare the relative exploded parts drawings in the FSM SE sections to see how they vary.

OMG that's insane. I have access to the seats through a local junk yard not sure how much they want for them though. I bought 2 of their remaining strut setups and now want at least to be able to maybe convert my seat it would be a much appreciated option since I sweat just sitting in a seat.
