:welcome: to NICO!

Is the GPS still able to talk to you to give you turn by turn directions? I'm assuming that would happen over the same speakers and amplifiers as the audio. If not, I would suspect that the amplifier either isn't getting the "turn on" signal from the audio unit - or there is no voltage going to the amplifier - or it has failed in some way.

The factory service manual, available at www.infinitiservicemanual.com, has some self diagnostics that you can go through to try to see what's going on.

You might also get in touch with these guys to see if they have a suggestion or fix for your problem:

In the q45 service manuals that are on here there is a self diagnostics procedure that involves turning the ignition on off while rotating the volume knob and holding a button down. You will be able to check each speaker, the sub, body module, lots of stuff, anything that doesn't have a green light next to it on the menu has a problem. I think you will be able to see if it's the mic for the voice control or a shorted speaker or amp or sub. Good luck!
