2002 Q45 airbag warning

Hi,

I picked my 2002 Q45 yesterday and today the airbag warning came on. The light is blinking. I tried to turn the car off but didn't help. Any help?

Below is the message

"Supplement air bag warning light 'on' with front seat belt pre-tensioner open circuit"

Shouln't it be covered under seat belt warranty?

The pre-tensioner front seat belt need to be replaced. Standard coverage is only 60K miles but checked with your local dealership. You might get lucky if you're friends with them.

I had that code. i was going to fix it myself but at that time it was warrantied. the parts are just butt connectors that you can probably get at the store. basically you need to check out the short and splice and install butt connectors and wallah.

CAUTION: SRS will not enter diagnosis mode if no malfunction is detected in user mode.

Turn ignition switch "ON". After "AIR BAG" warning lamp lights for 7 seconds , turn ignition switch "OFF" within 1 seconds . Wait more than 3 seconds . Repeat the steps 1 to 2 two times. Turn ignition switch ON". Compare the number of flashes to Air Bag Warning Lamp Flash Code. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and disconnect the battery ground terminal.Warning Lamp Flash Code Chart Part 1

Hi,I took the car to Infiniti to check the air bag warning sign. They said it was due to seat belt and they'll replace the seat belt.
