Hi Guys,

I recently purchased an 02 Q (Premium) and noticed that the light for the suspension (that is supposed to come on in the dash when "Sport" is selected) does not come on. Even when I switch it to "Auto", I don't feel a difference.

Any ideas please?

How many miles on the car? I think those are probably toast by 70k or so. Not sure of the options you will have to get them fixed beyond buying new ones from the dealership.

You are right in T3 country, they specialize in Q45's so you should look them up and take it in. Q45Tech runs the place and knows his stuff well.

82K miles on her now. I actually had it in T3 for an oil change and Rotor resurfacing but forgot to ask about that. Just wondering if anyone had such an issue. It is something I can definitely live without except if it is not expensive to fix..

Thanks for responding

I have a 2002 Q45 sport.I had mine repaired under my extended warrn, at about 85k.I would guess that your light is out because:when the system is uot you can tell in the ride.BUT with the system working you CANT tell a difference between the switch on or off.

Lift the part that is on top on the shock tower off. have some one flick the switch on and off. while looking at the inside of the part, you should see it turn when the switch works.

Changing stock stiffness 20% is hard to feel depending on road smoothness.

Nissan shocks are usually done after 60k and every 4 year replacement is in order for those that want to return to and maintain oem ride/handling.

Changing shocks is and has always been a standard maintenance item on all brands....................just that adjustables cost more.
