Extended service repair contracts depend on the company backing the insurance policy and how easy they are to deal with on claims.
The consumer/better business bureau in Ontario/London should have some info on company.
I always recommend that owners be prepared to spend 10 US cents per kilometer driven after 100,000 miles but this includes wear items tires, brake pads, rotors, services, etc.
Insurance companies can only stay in business IF they pay out less than they take in in premiums.
Always have a qualified inspector evaluate any used car to get a list of the thousand of dollars needed to return it to as new even at 96k.
Used car always have things wrong with them!
