2002 Pathfinder vent problem

Hi all I'm brand new here.

I have a 2002 Pathfinder that has an issue with the heating/cooling vents. The air be it warm or cold will only come out the vents facing the passengers. I cannot change it to the feet or the windshield defog.

I'd like to check the actuator that would control the air flow. Can someone give me some insight as to where to find it?

Check out this thread. It's for a different problem, but the troubleshooting steps are the same. Take a look at the referenced FSM and start running through the troubleshooting steps there.
