Good Morning,
I have a 2002 Pathfinder 4X4 with 3.5l engine and Manual Transmission.

I have a vibration, feels exactly like drive shaft universals have wore out. Except they are all good. Smooth when accelerating, vibrates on deceleration. Does it in variable gears at different speeds although worst at the 30-45 mph range.

Where the rear prop shaft enters the Transfer case, you can move the shaft up and down significantly. Probably not a 1/4 inch but it feels like that much. I have more ford experience with this, and don't know Nissan's at all so I don't know what movement is appropriate on them.

Do I need to have the bearings replaced in the transfer case?

Have you tried greasing the driveshafts?
